Sourced from the Grant Family Vineyards near New Melones Reservoir.   Aged 20 months in French oak.  Complex nose opens with layers of dried fruit and subtle hints of cedar.  Flavors of dried fruit before expanding into fresh cherry, plum, and black currant.  Full midpalate.  Dry.  Tannins from the French oak barrel adds a pleasant lingering finish.  Pair with a gourmet burger with aged cheddar, caramelized onions and a garlic aioli.  ALC 14.7%  750ml
