A blend of Barbera, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon all from the Sierra Foothills.  Aged 18 months in 35% new Hungarian oak.  Dark purple in color.  Dark inky grape aroma with hints of cedar and currant.  Each variety shows through in its own way.  The Barbera adds a mouth-watering component that draws you in for more.  The Sangiovese is medium bodied and fruit forward.  The Cabernet adds medium tannin.  Pair this with Tuscan Chicken Stew.
