Grapes sourced from Shake Ridge Ranch in Amador County.  Our first School Street reserve wine using fruit from world renown grape grower Anne Kraemer.  Aromas of violets in a meadow after a spring rain.  Hints of spice from the Hungarian oak.  Soft flavors of ripe berries and cherries with an earthiness that is soft and subtle.  The mouthfeel and mid palate are pleasing.  Medium tannins make for a luscious finish.  Pair with a barbequed leg of lamb or filet mignon.
